Why did God give us two hands?
Beloveth, do you know that God has given us two hands, one to receive with and the other to give with.
A lack of generosity refuses to acknowledge that your assets are not really yours, but God’s.
Luke 6:38- Give and it will be given to you, good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over will be put into your lap, for with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.
An example was Dorcas acts of charity (Acts 9:36-42) in Joppa there was a disciple named Tabitha (in Greek her name is Dorcas); She was always doing good and helping the poor. About that time she became sick and died. All the widows stood by (Peter) weeping and …. The coats and garments which Dorcas made while she was with them. Dorcas also known as Tabitha, was known for her charitable works.
She helped the poor in whatever ways she was able. She gave her talent and time, making clothes for the needy.
Beloveth, let us use our time, talents to gifts money to help those in need.
Proverbs 19:17- Those who are gracious to the poor lend to the Lord, and the Lord will fully repay them.
