The youth camp 2024 was hands down amazing. At first spirits were down when it was announced that pastor PK wouldn’t be with us in person, however, where Gods people are in His name, He is there in our midst. His presence moved so mightily through the words, prayers, praise and worship. The encounter I had with God there has ignited a fresher fire for the things of God in my life. We cannot afford to be distracted as we run this race.

‘I found this year's camp truly exceptional. The topic was fascinating, the talks, contact and bible study sessions resonated deeply with the current aspects of my life. I learned so much from the retreat, but one key takeaway was the importance of discipline for achieving anything in life. 

Leaving the camp is always the hardest part because God's presence feels so strong there, even though I know He's with me everywhere I go. YCI remains the highlight of my summer, and I eagerly look forward to next year's camp!!!!’

"Youth camp was really fun and unique. It was a different environment to what I’m used to. I went into camp thinking it was going to be boring but the activities and having your friends around made it a very enjoyable experience. I really enjoyed the preaching as there were a variety of different preachers so it was interesting to see how different people can have the same point but deliver it in a different way.

I loved the camp slogan which was “Running to Win”. This is a perfect metaphor for running the Christian race and it teaches us to try our hardest and run like we can win. Camp taught me many things and I’m glad I went to it."

Camp was such a fun and interesting experience, I liked the idea of being surrounded by people the same age as me with the same goal of wanting to get closer to God. It was like a small community even if it wasn’t for a long time. the camp officers/leaders were really nice and the activities we did were interesting and fun, however I wish it was a bit longer because the time was very short and the activities were a bit rushed. It was very refreshing to be away from distractions and the fasting was a lot easier than I expected it to be. Overall, I enjoyed my time at camp.

Upon arrival at the camp, there was a briefing on the rules followed by a short Praise and Worship session. A movie was shown depicting the reality of churches engaging in fake miracles for financial gain, which was thought-provoking. The days that followed involved participating in Bible Study sessions focused on the theme of "Running To Win" as an example of the Christian Race. 

The atmosphere at the camp was emotionally stirring, leading to a closer connection with God and a strengthened faith through my personal encounter. Witnessing God's impact on people in the camp was amazing. I recommend the youth consider attending the camp in the future.

For me youth camp was an eye opening experience. Initially I just wanted to go because I knew my friends were going, but I was inspired by a testimony that someone gave last year to come and I did not regret it. Everyday I found myself growing closer and closer to God, whether it was with my actions or my thoughts. It was also amazing for me and my friends to be able to really engage by taking part in praise and worship

Steps To keep the Revival Flame Burning


‘This is my first time attending Youth Camp Ireland and I can say it was extraordinary. I was touched. I felt God’s presence massively. I felt launched to a new season in my life. My heart and soul was touched. It felt Rev. Wonu knew how I was feeling and she just said that word that pierced through my bones. I am so glad I went and I can’t wait for next year’s camp.’


The Youth Camp encounter didn’t just end there, there was an overflow as we had Open Circle Dublin bringing another encounter to us. The words of Joel 2:28 are set to manifest about the youth: "And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions." 


Having these encounters isn’t enough, the fire must be kept burning. We can’t have these encounters and be lukewarm. James 2:17, "Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead." Revival ignites a powerful spiritual fire within us, but maintaining that fire requires intentional effort. Here are key steps to keep the flame burning brightly:


1. Consistent Prayer and Worship Develop a daily habit of prayer and worship to stay connected with God. Philippians 4:6 encourages, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." 

2. Regular Bible Study Immerse yourself in God’s Word to deepen your understanding and strengthen your faith. Psalm 119:105 reminds us, "Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path." 

3. Fellowship with Brethren Surround yourself with fellow believers who encourage and challenge you in your walk with Christ. Hebrews 10:25 advises, "Not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another." 

4. Accountability Partners Find a mentor or accountability partner to provide support and guidance. Proverbs 27:17 states, "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." There is a profound sense of anticipation for what God will do through our generation. The seeds of revival that are being planted now have the potential to grow into a powerful, transformative force that can change the world. 


As we look ahead, let us be encouraged by the promise of Ephesians 3:20, "Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us." A revival is brewing among us which is filled with passion, purpose, and the power of the Holy Spirit. This generation is poised to make an indelible mark on history, ushering in a new era of faith, unity, and transformation. Join us in prayer, support, and expectation, believing that the best is yet to come.
