I AM WHO I AM- Part 1
I AM THAT I AM - the Multifaceted God, Many Sided God, Complicated God.
“Then Moses said to God, “Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His name?’ what shall I say to them?” And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’ Exodus 3:13-14 NKJV
This introduction of the Almighty God of Himself as “I AM THAT I AM” to His meek servant Moses, was necessitated by the sincere and heartfelt enquiry of who he would tell the elders had sent him. Moses was genuinely concerned about the identity of this Great God that was with him and nudging him to go and be the saviour of his brethren. His fear and apprehension was as a result of his experience at the age of 40 when he was full of confidence and assurance in his ability as a deliverer, but his attempt on being the advocate for his brethren failed and forced him into exile.
Acts 7:22-25 NKJV“ And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians and was mighty in words and deeds. “Now when he was forty years old, it came into his heart to visit his brethren, the children of Israel. And seeing one of them suffer wrong, he defended and avenged him who was oppressed and struck down the Egyptian. For he supposed that his brethren would have understood that God would deliver them by his hand, but they did not understand.”
I AM THAT I AM can simply be translated to mean the Multifaceted God, Many Sided God, Complicated God. The scripture below reveals that the intention of our Heavenly Father was and still is to use us to demonstrate to all His adversaries His many sides and diversity of wisdom. Ephesians 3:10 AMPC
In the gospel of John, Thomas asked Jesus to show them the Father, Jesus replied that knowing HIM (Jesus Christ) equates knowing the Father, because He (Jesus) and the Father are one. Therefore, The I AM was in flesh and blood speaking through our Lord Jesus Christ. John 14:8-9
GIVER OF NEW WINE
“And he said to him, “Every man at the beginning sets out the good wine, and when the guests have well drunk, then the inferior. You have kept the good wine until now!” John 2:10 NKJV In the above scripture, we see Jesus Christ revealing Himself as our God the author, supporter and perfecter of marriage. His love and support for the covenant of marriage made Him to honour the invitation to the marriage ceremony and to ensure that this new couple was not disgraced. Jesus is always willing to ensure that you will not be disgraced in that marriage, as long as you and I are willing to obey the same instruction that Mary the Mother of Jesus gave to the servants at the wedding in Cana (“whatever He says to you do it"). Jesus brought the best wine possible, when they were without any wine at all. In the same manner, if your marriage has lost everything that makes for blissful marital relationship and now your marriage, like water has become tasteless, the restorer will bring in sweetness to your marriage.
Wine has the characteristic of making glad the heart of men, this new wine that the Lord will release into your marital life, will drown away all years you have known pain and sorrow in that marriage in Jesus’s mighty name amen. The Lord will introduce gladness into your marriage by the supply of new wine, the Holy Spirit will move upon your union for beauty. Prosperity will replace lack, so that your marriage will be strengthened in Jesus’s mighty name amen. Psalms 104:15 NKJV
Jesus will send all resources necessary for the dry bones of that marriage to rise to become as mighty army. He gives aid to the seeds of Abraham not angels. Hebrews 2:16-18 NKJV Verse 17 told us that God wanted Jesus to be a merciful and faithful High Priest, so He was made like us mere mortals in everything. Jesus our High Priest has suffered many things like us. The root of the rift in your marriage could be disappointment from your closest confidant (husband/wife), Jesus suffered same from His closest friends Peter, James and John. As Christ did not fail in His relationship with His disciples, you will not fail in your marital life in Jesus’s mighty name amen.
“For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him.” Romans 10:12 NKJV
I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE- John 14v6
“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.” Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?” Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
In 2025, you and I will walk with the Way and on His way, the paths of the stranger we will not walk in the mighty name of the Lord. God bless and keep you. I will see you in 2025, through the Mercy and kindness of the Lord, amen.
